At Scripps Networks' Food Network and Fine Living, , just became VP-ad sales marketing a few months ago. Expect some very creative ideas from her.

Her former boss Steve Schiffman, an exec VP at National Geographic Channel, recalls a promotion Ms. Galietta-Cotter dreamed up for a show called "Inside the U.S. Secret Service." She filled a section in a stadium during an NFL game with actors dressed like Secret Service agents. It got the Fox Sports announcers' attention.

"I've tried to do all kinds of things to make sure I 'm as smart as I can be in this business," she says.
