If you could have dinner with one person, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
It would be “RBG”—Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I think she paved the way for women now and in the future and for those who identify as female. Her work really progressed different types of feminism and I think she’s just so inspiring as a human being. I think it would be amazing to sit down and pick her brain and understand her journey and battles and see how we can continue to pick up the ball and keep running with it.
What are the top two social media sites you use on a regular basis?
The first one I use is Instagram. It provides a connection to my friends and family—who may not live near me anymore now that I’ve moved across the country—in a way that I can engage and share things with them, and it provides inspiration by following brands and influencers for my job.
The second one is TikTok—for entertainment value, but also as a newer emerging platform.
What’s currently on your bedside reading list?
“Untamed” by Glennon Doyle. I think her story and her truthfulness is inspiring. It was recommended to me by a mentor of mine at P&G. She is so blunt and tells it how it is and it’s not in fluffy narrative language. It’s like she’s talking to her best friend. It’s a powerful set of stories that links into owning yourself, your beliefs, your feminism, and I feel so empowered by her words to be my true authentic self because she really puts herself out there.
What was the last show you binge-watched?
First, “Schitt’s Creek.” I think the Levys are so clever. The other one is my go-to pleasure: “Gilmore Girls.” Sometimes when I’m at home working after-hours and I need something in the background, I will turn on “Gilmore Girls.” It’s just so wholesome and familiar—and just good content.
