Biscuit's ubiquitous Andreas Nilsson was the go-to director for brands seeking colorful craziness in 2017. He introduced Rob Lowe as KFC's Colonel in the campaign to send a Zinger spicy sandwich into space; had Von Miller breaking out of an alien egg in the desert for Old Spice, and demonstrated why not to call your band Atlas for Squarespace.
Biscuit directors' talent in coaxing excellent comedic performances from celebrities was apparent across the board. For Lyft, Noam Murro depicted Tilda Swinton and Jordan Peele as a pair of astronauts engaged in roadtrip banter. Clay Weiner struck the balance between sad and funny with Will Ferrell as a deadbeat dad in Common Sense Media's "#DeviceFreeDinner," and tapped into the eccentricities of Cheech Marin, of "Cheech and Chong" fame, for arts organization Pacific Standard Time.
But not everything was celeb-led: Steve Rogers' work included a hilarious spot in which Old Spice's "Legendary Man" tries to communicate with gorillas in the jungle.
