Most new agency employees have to wait a few months for their company perks to kick in. But Hunterblu's recruits get a benefit even before they start—their first week is fully paid time off to allow new employees to arrive refreshed.

Despite being a fully remote workforce, the company hosts quarterly themed happy hours. Past happy hours have included drag bingo, scavenger hunts, magic shows and trivia nights. Hunterblu also hosts an annual fully paid corporate retreat that includes a plus-one for employees. Last year, it was a cruise on Virgin Voyages.

Hunterblu offers an annual “giving back” day, and has leveraged its media relationships to publicly thank employees in the cities in which they work with pro bono billboards.

The agency also puts 21% of its revenue back into providing opportunities for employee work/life balance, personal and professional growth. Other perks include a $750 credit toward a hotel stay when someone gets promoted, profit-sharing allocations for quarterly bonuses and a 401k matching program.

In addition, Hunterblu has 100% company-paid health care, vision, dental and life insurance, as well as mandatory quarterly mental health days. There is a minimum requirement of two weeks annual PTO and 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
