Axe has released its upcoming Super Bowl spot, part of a promotion offering to send consumers to space. (Yes, really.) This is the first Super Bowl commercial for Axe.
Volkswagen has also come out with the Super Bowl spot with nearly a week to go until the game. Where last year's spot included a feel-good story about a dog plus a reference to the prior success of "The Force," VW this time tells you that office life doesn't need to be such a downer.
Century 21's Super Bowl debut in the 2012 game won a "respectable" three out of four stars from Ad Age last year by depicting a Century 21 rep who out-negotiated Donald Trump, out-blinged Deion Sanders and out-skated Apolo Ohno. This year's return to the big game uses the "Smarter. Bolder. Faster" theme again but goes without the celebrities. We'll see if it gets viewers' attention as easily without the same star power.
And finally (for now), Audi has released the full spot it will run in the Super Bowl on Sunday. It had previously posted the beginning of the commercial along with three potential endings from which viewers could choose.
