Remember a time when we gathered around the Super Bowl TV, cross-legged and yellow-eyed, waiting for the horrible half-time show to come on so we could rush off to the bathroom? Remember when we were afraid to leave the room during commercial breaks because we didn't want to miss one single commercial? Well, goodbye to all that .
This year, it seems that a majority of the brands involved in the game are releasing their ads early. From Volkswagen to Coke to Audi to Honda, they're all out there for the world to see. Granted, in some cases the ad you see during the game will be different, as a few marketers are floating extra-length videos that they're going to somehow cut down into standard commercial-size bits for the game. And even those who haven't released ads (yet) are releasing "teasers" for their spots -- which is slightly annoying and only builds up expectations that may be impossible to meet. Kia, for example, is running a teaser ad for its ad on TV and has also posted five hours of Adriana Lima waving a flag.
Here's what we've got so far. Keep coming back for more.
