Puppy Bowl viewers will all but feel the drool from the dogs competing in this year's showdown on Animal Planet during Super Bowl Sunday.
Geico will sponsor the 360-degree experience, which will put viewers on the field, allowing them to get nose-to-nose with the puppies and get an interactive tour of Geico Stadium, Animal Planet said Wednesday.
The experience will be available through Discovery VR iOS and Android apps, Samsung Milk VR and on Animal Planet's YouTube page.
The Kitty Halftime Show will feature kittens taking over the Bay Area – stomping across historic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and "Al-Cat-Raz."
Last year's Puppy Bowl premiere averaged 2.8 million total viewers and the complete 12-hour marathon brought in 10.4 million unique viewers. Animal Planet is part of Discovery Communications.
Aside from Geico, Pedigree, Sheba, Bissell, Hershey's Twizzlers, Dairy Queen, Disney's "Zootopia," "The Secret Life of Pets" and Subaru will sponsor Puppy Bowl XII.
