Moxie, another company known for going beyond the traditional boundaries of commercials productions—it produced Glamour's Reel Moments series—most recently brought its multiplatform prowess to an ambitious campaign for Cellular South, out of Y&R New York, which involved a multi-part series telling the story of competing Southern high school football teams and coaches. In the spots arena, director Seth Gordon undertook a Volkswagen campaign out of DDB London, featuring a series of characters, including followers of "Dudeism," who have reconfigured their approach to life. Master documentary storyteller Errol Morris had a busy commercials run on spots for Target, EA and Nike, all out of Wieden and Kennedy. Funny man Frank Todaro was behind Playstation spots for Deutsch and Verizon spots for McCann, while James Griffiths helmed a boots-shaking anti-knife PSA for the Metropolitan Police.
