Noelle Pirnie, 29

Ben & Jerry's environmental bent is well-known, but continuing to draw attention in new ways to its eco-friendly efforts is a challenge crucial to the company's core. No one recognizes that more than Noelle Pirnie, the integrated marketing manager who's been tasked with doing just that since she arrived in Vermont last year with her yellow Lab.

Being able to bring her pooch to the office is part of the reason Ms. Pirnie loves her job. But she says she still "gets the biggest high" on event days.

In that case, Ms. Pirnie, 29, was certainly flying on May 17 in New York City for the launch of the Enviro-Roadie contest she'd developed. The goal was to publicize Ben & Jerry's global warming campaign tied to the Dave Matthews Band. The event kicked off the search for someone to travel with the band and spread the word about global warming, lending a fresh component to the mission.
