Online Resource Will Assist Ad-Industry Job Seekers

NEW YORK ( -- The Advertising Research Foundation is launching an online career center to assist employers and industry professionals in their searches.

The economic climate may be bleak, but many advertising, marketing and media firms continue to be on the hunt for top talent, according to ARF President-CEO Bob Barocci. "Our members tell us they're looking to hire quality people with the skills, temperament and guts to handle today's work and be effective in this uncertain, changing world," he said in a statement.

The aim of the New York-based organization, founded in 1936 by the Association of National Advertisers and the American Association of Advertising Agencies, is to create and distribute research to help member companies make better advertising decisions. The ARF has 400 member companies, including blue-chip marketers from Coca-Cola to Walmart, as well as top ad agencies and media companies.

The site is free to search for job seekers, but there are fees for companies, with varying rates depending upon the duration of the job posting and whether the company is an ARF member.
