So Donald Trump won New Hampshire last night. Some people -- such as Donald Trump -- are happy about that.

Other people -- including the editors of the Daily News -- are unhappy about that ... while also maybe being a little bit happy to have the opportunity to put out this cover today:

Meanwhile, the Democratic National Committee, perhaps taking a cue from the Daily News' blunt approach, sent out an email blast last night with a subject line reading "UPDATE: Trump won." The email contained nothing but a series of stark, simple images invoking the specter of a Trump presidency, including:

And then, of course, there was the standard call to action at the end:

Arguably, the failure of the Daily News' and DNC's graphic approaches is that they still contain too much text. (In this election cycle, who has time to read?)

So here's a prediction: wordless, all-emoji campaign and opposition messaging by ... let's say April.
