Have the Bottles Been Broken?

Is this the swan song for one of the best animated campaigns ever? No sooner does Deutsch debut a new round of Snapple spots than it's announced the account has moved to Cliff Freeman. The usual new-marketing-guy routine, apparently. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and this Snapple work is unbreakable. In this latest round, the spots are introduced by "real" salt-of-the-earth types-shades of the Snapple Lady of yore-which is quite unnecessary, in our opinion, but beyond that it's just more of the same fabulous animation, with some nice added touches like a shaved poodle and live-action chicks (the baby chicken kind). This work was made from some of the greatest stuff in commercials-we're gonna miss it.
