FedEx taps DDB for Latin America

[Miami] Further scaling back its relationship with BBDO Worldwide, Federal Express Corp. has shifted its estimated $10 million Latin American account from the Omnicom Group network to sibling DDB Latin America, according to the marketer. Last year, BBDO reduced its Miami office from full-service to a coordination hub for Pepsi Cola and FedEx, and transferred creative responsibilities to New York and other offices. The move, made without a review, comes more than a year after FedEx dropped BBDO in Europe, the Middle East and Asia and moved to independent London agency Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest for all three regions.
