Awards show will honor nontraditional campaigns

[London] A call for entries will go out in September for a global awards event called the Future Marketing Awards to honor nontraditional marketing campaigns. Alex Bogusky, executive creative director of Crispin Porter & Bogusky, is chairman of the jury, which has been split into three regions: Americas, Europe and Asia.

Mr. Bogusky chairs a panel of 39 judges, half agency executives and half marketers. They include Gillian Smith, senior director of media and global collaboration at Burger King; Jonathan Barr, director of advertising development for Procter & Gamble Europe; and Simon Thomson, U.K. head of marketing at Honda.

The awards will be judged online and four separate ceremonies will be held in New York, London, Shanghai and Tokyo in early 2006. Grand prize winners from the three regions will be awarded at the Tokyo ceremony.
