CBS.com streamed more minutes of Web video to users during the month of December than its network competition, Silicon Alley Insider
says. Recent comScore numbers have the network’s site streaming 33.8 million videos for 104 million minutes of content viewed on its site. NBC.com came in second with 25.3 million clips played for a total of 62 million minutes. ABC.com totaled 28 million minutes even though it had the highest number of videos viewed with 47.3 million. Fox came in last 2 million minutes streamed and 1.4 million segments viewed. Fox’s player is still in its testing phase and the company is focusing on providing its content on Hulu.com.
