NBCU Takes Stake in DriverTV

NBC Universal is buying a 35% stake in DriverTV for about $6 million, says PaidContent. The investment gives NBCU the right to acquire a majority stake, as well as an option to buy the whole site, which produces and distributes three-minute videos aimed at car buyers. As part of the deal, distribution of the content will be increased to NBC.com, as well as MySpace.
