Nielsen Acquires Audience Analytics

Nielsen has purchased Audience Analytics, the Hollywood Reporter says. Nielsen will use Audience Analytics’ Audience Watch software to help process larger amounts of audience data, particularly interactive TV and video-on-demand usage. The company also will work on developing a single platform that will measure audience data from TV, Internet, mobile phones and other devices.
