Sportscasters Cry Foul Over MLB’s New Rules

Some of the biggest players in news and sports reporting are meeting with Major League Baseball later this week to express concern over the League’s new strict rules governing the use of its content, Editor and Publisher says. Last week MLB announced it would limit the length of audio and video news Web sites can use, along with the number of images they can include in their coverage. Some of the journalists scheduled to meet with MLB include editors from the Associated Press, the Kansas City Star and Baltimore’s The Sun.
