Video Streams Up 9% in April

Nielsen’s April VideoCensus showed 9% growth in U.S. video streams from the previous month, to more than 7.6 billion, NewTeeVee reports. The study found that unique viewers rose 4% to 119.6 million, with an average 63.6 streams and 142.8 minutes per viewer during the month. YouTube, with 4.1 billion streams, by far dominated the list, while Hulu pushed out Google Video for 10th place.
