Amy Armstrong is director, global customer development, at Amazon Ads. She is responsible for establishing a global best practice and creating long-term relationships with the world’s largest advertising customers. Amy joined Amazon Ads in 2022 and, before this role, held numerous leadership roles at media agencies, including Global CEO of Initiative, where Amy led a team that transformed the company’s operations, including driving business results for her clients and substantial revenue growth for the agency. During her tenure, she has received accolades, including being named U.S. Comeback Agency of the Year by Ad Age, U.S. Media Agency of the Year by Adweek, Best Place to Work by Ad Age, and has been recognized as one of Adweek’s Women Trailblazers 2021. Amy earned a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College. She lives in Hoboken, New Jersey, with her twin sons, Griffin and Owen.
