This Memorial Day, CNN is out to pay tribute to the thousands of fallen U.S. heroes who have been casualties from the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. Starting Friday and continuing over the Memorial Day weekend, the '100 Hours, 100 Faces' will feature the face of one of the 8,000 people who’ve died, with a different face spotlighted every hour, on CNN.com. Among them, you’ll find the oldest, the youngest, the first and the most recent casualties, as well as those from every state.

The project will also feature information from “Home and Away,” CNN’s dataviz work on the casualties of the two wars. The site will also let you share your own thoughts and memories via CNN’s iReport and also share the contents of the initiative on social media.
