Editor's Pick

This inspiring mini docufilm from Nicorette charts the journey of former smoker Mark Cooper from 20-a-day habit to the extraordinary achievement of running 50 marathons in 56 days, from Amsterdam to Barcelona.

Beautifully shot by Unit9 Films' A Common Future (aka Tom Elliott and Simon Reichel) for agency Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, the four-minute film follows Cooper as he explains frankly how he escaped from a dark place after his mother's death by giving up smoking and starting to run.

As he tells how he changed his life, we see him training, and then finally running his gruelling marathons. The film charts both the rough as well as the smooth, depicting him strapped up in a hospital room, running through gritted teeth to more exhilarating moments of achieving his athletic goals.
