Adrien Brody stars in cinematic film for luxury travel brand Monos

Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody explores the fleeting pleasure and beauty of travel in an artful film for luxury luggage and travel brand Monos, shot in Tangier, Morocco. Directed by Mexico City-based filmmaker and photographer Alexis Gomez, the spot shows Brody exploring Tangier with luggage from Monos’ Aluminum Collection by his side, as he dictates an inner monologue that reveals he is thrilled by the unknown. The three-minute film, titled “Kismet—A Journey with Adrien Brody,” waxes philosophical ideas such as surrendering to the journey and finding beauty in the fleeting moments of life. The film has a cinematic approach and highlights Monos’ high-end craftsmanship for globetrotters. “Growing up in New York—a city full of diversity and unexpected encounters—ignited a thirst for adventure,” said Brody on set. “I often find myself on location in different places while working on films, which is exciting; I love to explore, to travel, to get lost and find my way. Traveling reminds me that borders are irrelevant. No matter how different cultures or people may seem, we’re all just people living our unique stories.” The campaign is the first celebrity-focused spot from Monos, which recently achieved B Corp certification. The brand’s products are inspired by the Japanese concept of mono no aware—the belief that the journey is as meaningful as the destination, with happiness found in the pursuit of purpose.
