To herald the opening of its upcoming exhibit "Andy Warhol: Motion Pictures," featuring 14 of the nearly 500 black and white moving portraits the artist made of his celebrity friends from 1964 to 1966, the MOMA has launched a modern-day take on his process, inviting visitors to the show's website to upload their own "screen tests." New testers must shoot themselves, motionless for up to 90 seconds before a white or black backdrop and then upload their film to the MOMA Flickr pool. See full details here.
The exhibit opens December 19 and runs through March.
