A Family of Dancing Aprons Stars in Ikea's Latest Australian Spot

More Cute Puppetry From Blinkink and The Monkeys

Ikea Australia delighted us back in March with its spot featuring a couple of adorable sheepskin rugs living as man and wife, with a puppy step-stool.

Now it adds another commercial to the feelgood campaign, this time featuring a family of dancing aprons. Parent and child versions of "Gudlok" aprons, from Ikea, prepare a meal in their Ikea kitchen, dancing around joyously as they demonstrate such items as storage jars, pots and pans and plates.

Like the sheepskin spot, the new ad is by The Monkeys, Sydney and was directed by Blinkink puppeteers Jonny and Will. It continues the brand's "Best Day Is Every Day" campaign that encourages consumers to see the joy in what's right in front of them.
