Trollbck + Co. has debuted a line ofartsy buttons, the first of a series of "internally created promotional projects that we intend to produce quarterly," says CD Joe Wright. Two thousand packages were prepared 500 sets of four different designs first distributed in New York at the Promax/BDA show last month, where Jakob Trollbck, whose shop created the titles for Helvetica, introduced the film at a special screening. This "Aviary" design, notes Wright, "reflects the diversity in the office these are all national birds from countries represented by our staff." Other sets feature Britishisms, houndstooth patterns and trompe l'oeil buttons.
