Vitaminwater and Sid Lee Paris take a partial page out of Nike's book with a new spot to celebrate regular athletes that won't ever make it to the Olympics, but should be noticed anyway.
The brand is owned by Coke, which is an official Olympics sponsor, making this a sanctioned, non-ambush campaign. Sid Lee Paris sent a sports commentator to pools and tennis courts, to relay the common man's exploits in a booming, Olympic-worthy way. The reactions -- and the dialogue -- are pretty hilarious.
Afterward, each athlete was joined by a Vitaminwater rep who handed them a bottle of the drink.
