In memory of Stan Lee's passing today, we're resurfacing this story on a comical branded content film he appeared in for Audi in 2015. Comic book legend Stan Lee also has another specialty--cameo acting, as we've seen in his notable but minor appearances in the various Marvel movies-- they include a hot dog vendor, a librarian, a security guard and even a Larry King-lookalike. To help promote its sponsorship of the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Audi makes the most of Mr. Lee's sideline skills in this funny new film out of Muhtayzik Hoffer, which won the brand's social account earlier this year, and directed by Kevin Smith of "Clerks" and "Comic Book Men" fame.

In it, he teaches a class of "randoms"--Smith himself, Tara Reid, Lou Ferrigno, Jason Mewes and Michael Rooker--the nuances of a great cameo and how such jobs differ from "regular acting." If anyone, he's the one to do it because, as Mr. Smith says, "When it comes to small roles, Stan Lee is the biggest."

Mr. Lee has even started to make cameo appearances in Audi's Twitter feed.
