British Airways and flying loyalty scheme Avios have teamed up to tempt travelers to book a trip to Madrid via a virtual reality experience of the city.

Created by Soul, the 360-degree video lets viewers explore locations in Madrid including the Temple of Debod, San Miguel Market and Retiro Park. The experience will allow viewers to discover interesting local facts, such as the location of Botin, the oldest restaurant in the world.

The campaign is the focus of an ad in the March edition of "The Sunday Times" Travel Magazine, which drives people online to watch the video. The magazine comes with Avios and British Airways branded Google Viewers in Tesco stores
