Poke's innovative work for U.K. mobile giant Orange continues with what's purported to be the world's first-ever online balloon race.

How this works precisely is that visitors choose from four animals--a dolphin, canary, raccoon and a camel--then virtually inflate them with a mouse click and take part in the race that kicks off thirteen days from now and runs between June 23rd and June 30th. After filling out a name tag, the site keeps your race stats as you go. The animals represent different mobile plans being offered by Orange.

The race, which is navigated with the arrow keys, asks combatants to travel through a series of submitted sites from participants and collect one internet mile with each site you travel. Earn extra points by nabbing randomly planted stars to win daily prizes as well as get energy boosts and rainbows to teleport you several sites ahead. The grand prize is a seven day trip to the party-centric island of Ibiza.
