If you were wondering what Nizan Guanaes was up to before the holidays, the founder of Brazil's Grupo ABC and Sao Paulo agency Africa (Ad Age's 2014 International Agency of the Year) is keeping his hand in as a copywriter. Guanaes penned the two-minute holiday message for Banco Itau, one of Brazil's biggest advertisers and a client Guanaes has worked with for 35 years.

The voiceover for the lovely two-minute spot begins: "It's beautiful to watch the world go digital. But we all have to be vigilant that it never stops being human and personal." It ends by saying that of all the apps, none is better than the heart we all have within us.

The ad, which is running online and on TV and has 15", 30", 60" and 120" versions, is narrated by Fernanda Montenegro, Brazil's most revered actress (there are subtitles in English).
