Goodby Silverstein & Partners has teamed with Google to create Band of Bridges, a crowdsourcing website celebrating bridges around the world. The idea is that users will 'build the longest digital bridge in the world' by adding their own photos of bridges to the site. The site has been created in commemoration of the Golden Gate Bridge's 75th anniversary (for which Goodby also unveiled a striking print campaign), launched last month.

To add a bridge, users simply search for their chosen bridge using the Google map interace, then click both ends to add to the site. Famous Interactive worked with Goodby on creating the site, which is aimed at engaging people outside the Bay Area with the Golden Gate anniversary.
