Hugh Jackman makes a suave appearance in this sumptuously-filmed spot for luxury brand Mont Blanc, directed by Andreas Nilsson ("Epic Split.")

The actor takes a walk through the history of the brand as he tells us about its origins, starting by standing on a snowy replica of Mont Blanc itself. As he walks through the set he enters and exits different rooms; he walks through a Gatsby-style jazz age party and dances with a woman, moves to signing a hotel register with a Mont Blanc fountain pen, passes through a 1930s recreation of the Hamburg docks and takes us into Mont Blanc's watch workshop.

Jackman's dynamic narration and the gorgeous sets are all designed to appeal to a modern audience, as is the copywriting -- "the mindset was like a contemporary startup," Jackman says of the brand's founders.

The film was created by German agency Scholz & Friends and produced by Czar Film.
