The Art Directors Club is highlighting its awards' exclusivity by using some funny/quirky stats to illustrate how rare it is to win one of its Cubes.
For example, as this spot showing a cat toying with a vibrator illustrates, over 2,000 more people every year will have a sex toy injury than win an ADC Gold Cube. Elsewhere, we see that more people are married to their cousins than will ever win a Cube, and that in 2016, more will die taking selfies than win a Black Cube. The ads are by BBDO New York and support the awards' call for entries, which kicked off earlier this month.
The deadline for entries for the 95th ADC Awards is January 29 for digital and student submissions, and Feb. 8 for advertising and innovation submissions. For information, visit the awards website.
