The latest distinctively cool ad to emerge out of Brazil comes from F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, whose commercial for beer brand Skol Beats features a bunch of young people hanging around -- literally -- like bats. The combination of the poetic voiceover (written by copywriter Thiago Carvalho), music, shadows and the slightly creeped-out expressions of the people that gimpse these "creatures of the night" hanging silently there in the dark is surprisingly effective. Aimed at positioning Skol Beats as the beer that respresents the "rhythm of the night," the spot was directed by Brazilian duo 300ml.
