Pharmaceutical/healthcare giant GlaxoSmithKline is taking the plight of asthmatics to the advergaming realm with this comic-book styled destination. Pitting villainous Hack Wheezer and his gang of "Triggers" against heroic crew "Airforce' (which includes characters named Deep Bref and Alvie Olie), fans can watch live action characters do battle in a well-illustrated cityscape that actually rests within human lungs.
The Tequila-created site tilts more toward entertainment than a stark message on health; more entertaining than frightening. Visitors can watch the comic saga unravel, get in-depth with the characters, check maps of who controls what "turf" and of course, take part and test their might in games like "Lung Fu Training" and "Air Hockey." On the more health-conscious side, a section called "Do You Have Control?" lets you check your "Asthmascore," and depending on how many points you amass, the site suggests whether it'd be prudent to see a doctor or not.
