Recently, BBDO/N.Y. created a map-based poster campaign to support the launch of the BBC World News channel in America (click here for that ). Now the agency has gone off the map with a poster series that "simply and graphically presents words on a blank canvas," says writer Steve McElligott. "These words, when taken as a whole, create the picture of a relevant news story." But, McElligott adds, "Coupled with the tagline, the ultimate impression is that, unlike other news sources, the BBC simply presents the viewer with all the facts, without bias. The campaign reinforces the BBC's belief that news must always remain independent, impartial and honest."
