The One Show's Call for Entries film this year has fun with the idea that pencil-winning creatives could be really, really famous. Like, celebrities beyond the advertising industry.

In this parallel universe, one superfan carries round a life-size cutout of Y&R's Leslie Sims, people walk around in t-shirts embellished with the face of Ogilvy's Eugene Cheong, and an office worker proudly shows off her screensaver of Amusement Park Entertainment's Jimmy Smith. Meanwhile, a pizza chef has a signed photo of Goodby's Margaret Johnson, a cute dog is named after DDB's Bill Bernbach and as for Gerry Graf-- well, he enjoys the levels of fame of a Scientology-style cult leader.

The film is by JWT New York and promotes the submission website which is now open, with third-quarter deadline November 30, 2017 and final deadline January 31, 2018. Juries will be announced shortly.

"There's a lot of tension in the world right now, so we wanted to create something that makes people smile," says Aaron Padin, head of art & design at JWT, in a statement. "We took a hyperbolic look at what it means to win at the One Show to poke a little fun at ourselves."
