This BBQ Bible Has a Page Made of Salt, and Another That Turns into a Chopping Board
Tramontina Creates 'Bible of Barbecue'

Editor's Pick
We have seen books you can use to filter water. Now, check out one with pages you can actually cook with. Brazilian kitchen supplies brand Tramontina capitalizes on the country's obsession with barbecue with "The Bible of Barbeque," a tome by JWT Brazil that helps you by offering up pages that can be used to roast that meat just so.
One page is made entirely out of coal, while another is made of salt. One is a sharpening page, while the cover is wooden and can be used as a chopping board. There's even a page that turns into an apron.
50 books have been made, with 20 given to Tramontina clients as gifts, and 30 delivered to BBQ chefs in Brazil. 2,000 more are set to be produced -- simplified versions with fewer usable pages -- which will be sold in bookstores. See a film showing how the book came together here.
