Yard Sale Upcycling Gets Competitive in Humorous Spots for Krylon
Deutsch NY Inserts Comedy Into Spray Paint Ads

Editor's Pick
Yard sales and the neighborhood rivalry that they can bring on are the basis for this humorous campaign for Sherwin Williams-owned paint brand Krylon. They feature an ultra comepetitive family whose negotiating skills with their elderly neighbor are brought to the fore by buying and selling items such as a bike, watering can and chair at a yard sale. The product -- Krylon's Covermaxx spray paint -- is neatly highlighted by its role in upcycling the items. Harold Einstein directed the spots, for creative agency Deutsch New York .
