To highlight the dangers, freelance creative JD Beebe (ex Modernista and Goodby) has created two parallel "dating websites", Blue State Dateand Red State Date, shooing two hilarious viral videos to launch them. You can use the sites to find your ideal "running mate" and there's also a special Election deal: if you sign up for a premium account before the Election, you get free use of the site's features for the next four years if your party's candidate wins. According to Beebe, the Red Date video is getting more traction - could be that for conservatives, a difference in political afflilation is more of a deal-breaker.
