How do you make the family-oriented minivan cool? BMW has attempted to solve this problem by turning one into the vehicle for an aspiring family rock group.

In this feelgood spot from Germany, director Martin Werner of Czar depicts a family of teens and arguably the raddest dad ever, who form a rock group and take to the road in their BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer. The encouraging, but also long-suffering father is the hero here, teaching his kids to play, enduring loud drumming sessions and driving them around to gigs -- giving the soccer mom a run for her money.

The tagline for the ad, by Serviceplan Hamburg, is "Rev up your family."
