What at first glance seems like a typical story of a grumpy teenager learning to appreciate time with his mother quickly becomes a hunt worthy of “Where’s Waldo.” The latest campaign for Netflix and French company Bouygues Telecom is replete with hidden Easter eggs from the streaming platform’s shows—20 of them—and loyal viewers can test themselves to see how many they can find.
The campaign from BETC Paris sprinkles blink-and-you’ll-miss it references throughout the 60-second spot. Some of them are more obvious than others, like the ID that says “Chapman,” a character from “Orange is the New Black” and the partially-hidden ghost in the closet from “The Haunting of Hill House,” a series jam-packed with the same kind of spooky cameos.
