Vizio Ditches Picture for Pure Copy to Promote Quality of Its Ultra HD TVs

Vizio and ad agency David & Goliath take a clever approach to promoting the quality of the brand's 4K Ultra HD Smart TVS -- by ditching the pictures altogether.
A trio of ads recount dramatic scenarios that could look breathtaking on film -- a boxing match, a brave knight's quest and a Parisian love story -- but they're only relayed via colorful copy, word by word, and read by a dramatic voiceover. Going against category convention of showing lush landscapes and dramatic scenes, it's a smart way to reel viewers in and promote the tag, "See more than you can imagine," which is presumably what will happen when you watch something on Vizio's Ultra HD TVs.
