LEGO and Google have teamed up to create a platform for people to build LEGO creations from within Google Chrome. The site, buildwithchrome.com, is a Chrome Experiment created by Swedish interactive agency North Kingdom. It originally launched in Australia in 2012 but has now gone global, with additional functionality for mobiles and tablets.
Users can also interact with other community members through Google+ and, in a clever move to promote the forthcoming LEGO movie, which opens in February, they can explore the Build Academy, a series of short tutorials and challenges featuring characters and structures from the film.
