Fashion Brand Is Linking With Japan's Messaging App Line

Last year, Burberry collaborated with Chinese messaging app WeChat for London Fashion Week; this year, it's turning Japanese.

The luxury brand, always eager to be at the forefront of digital technology, has formed a partnership with Japanese social messaging app Line and released this cute cartoon film on Vogue.com, in which Line's own characters meet animated versions of Anna Wintour, Cara Delevingne, Christopher Bailey and Mario Testino in London. The animation is a teaser for Burberry's London Fashion Week show on Feb. 23, to be livestreamed via Line. The app, with 50 million users, is known for its emojis and cute cartoon stickers that can be used in messages, so Burberry has also collaborated with Line in creating its own range of downloadable stickers.
