Burger King is now moving into real estate. The Home of the Whopper has come to the rescue of potential homeowners and renters by locating abodes that it knows will be free of the stink of neighbor’s barbecue smoke—and it posted “For Rent” and “For Sale” signs highlighting that special feature. Turns out, they’re all located right next to a McDonald’s.

It’s BK’s latest cheeky campaign highlighting the fact that while its own Whoppers are flame-grilled, you can’t say the same for a Big Mac or Quarter-Pounder.

The campaign was created by David Sao Paulo and Madrid and is running in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. One of the signs even includes a phone number (55 11 3022-3359). Those who call will hear the message, "When picking an apartment, no one really wants annoying smoke: that's why it's great to have a neighbor who doesn't barbecue. But when your stomach growls, a flame-grilled patty on a Burger King sandwich makes a heck of a difference. Interested in this building? Please send an email to [email protected]

Those interested will be directed to the building's real seller.

“Everyone just loves flame-grilled barbecued meat, but not everyone likes to have a barbecuing neighbor,” said David  Creative VP Rafael Donato in a statement. “With the 'Best Neighbor' campaign we help these people, highlighting one of the features that sets BK apart as a brand without losing our sense of humor.”
