Burger King Introduces 'Whopper Wine,' Aged in Flame-Grilled Barrels

40 years ago, Burger King opened its first Spanish restaurant, so to toast the anniversary, the fast-feeder has introduced a very special accompaniment to its most popular burger: "Whopper Wine."

In a nod to how BK prepares its patties, the wine is aged in barrels made of "flame-grilled" wood. Its flavor is meant to enhance that of the Whopper, with which it is meant to be imbibed.

In order to partake in Whopper Wine, fans must submit their favorite Burger King stories or photos on a contest site. The 40 with the best tales will win a bottle.

The fast-feeder is known for unusual brand tie-in products, such as a body spray featuring a hint of burger.
