Soda is about more than sugary sweetness. If Dr. Pepper and Sprite are to be believed, they're about encouraging self expression. After Dr. Pepper launched its "One of a Kind" positioning a few months ago, which encouraged soda drinkers to assert their uniqueness, Sprite, BBH NY and BBH Shanghai have unveiled their own global campaign, which is about not blending into your surroundings.

Directed by Gorgeous' Peter Thwaites, the commercial, shot in the Czech Republic shows people camouflaged through Prague -- a metaphor for those who "blend" into their surroundings. It's another appropriation of a technique by camouflage artist Liu Bolin. Upon drinking Sprite, one formerly invisible teen is reinvigorated, and sheds his camouflage.

Twenty-two actors were hand-painted into the scenery of Prague, by artists that spent 1,200 hours on the job, with 500 pounds of paint. Check out the behind the scenes video here.
