U.K. Retailer Imagines Some Hilarious Scenarios

This funny new campaign from U.K. retailer Currys PC World imagines how you might start to fantasize about all the great technology you can buy at its stores.

The ads, by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and directed by The Bobbsey Twins From Homicide at Blink, include this one, where a dad's new oven lets him imagine himself as a sexy top chef, as well as a second spot about a children's entertainer who has a fantasy life as a heavy metal guitarist thanks to his entertainment system and another about a woman who daydreams about how her refrigerator's icemaker could transport her to a lifestyle of exotic cocktails.

In each scenario, brutal reality intrudes to bring each character down to earth with a bump.
